Milestone achieved?
Dude, check this out!
I've created a fully functioning stat panel for the player and enemy! Complete with enemy description, player equipment, and defensive stats that reflect the change in armor! The final design is going to get some major overhauls (I haven't even begun to approach damage types and resistances yet) but this is a huge step in what I've learned. From here, it won't be too difficult to create more enemy types and start scaling them to the player to some degree, which is a massive time saver.
The closer I get to having the basic systems working, the more excited I am to make it start looking pretty. This is by far the coolest creative project I've ever committed to, I cannot wait until it's in a state I can feel proud to share with others to try.
