I am really bad at being consistent here

So, in the time between the last post and this one, I built myself a webserver on a virtual machine and got my own domain and self hosted a wordpress site. That was fun for a while, and then my computer got compromised and even though I'm pretty sure there was no new damage done after learning I just lost session cookies and needed to update passwords, I figured it was time for a refresh and am back to daily driving Linux.

I also discovered Thor, the super rad PirateSoftware dev guy, and got motivated to really start making things. So I switched from flailing around in UE and now develop on Godot, went through some courses on gamedev.tv, and actually made some small games. I've got them on my itch.io page, and they're not very big or technically impressive, but I made them myself. That's a really cool feeling. And I also got a lot better at my job since game dev code logic isn't all that different from devops engineering code logic, so that's been really awesome too.

Anyway, I'm going to try to do better about keeping a record of my journey as a developer. Right now I'm working with a friend on a new project because I need reason and he wants to have something completed. So, more to come.
